It is shocking news that the Chinese government bans will apply to Apple products, as China represents one of Apple’s largest market segments, and strangely also manufactures most of it’s product in China.
Reports emerged in the western media on Wednesday that appar Beijing had ordered central government agency officials to not use iphones tfor work.
Later reports suggested that the ban will also be applied to state-owned companies and government-backed agencies.
Chinese social media had reportd of users being told to stop using Apple devices by the end of the year.
Notwithstanding the reports, no official statement has been made by the Chinese government.
