The London Blockchain Conference starts on 31 May 2023 and runs for three days. It will address topics involving blockchain issues. Although not strictly a BSV blockchain conference, the original blockchain designed by Satoshi Nakamoto will be at the forefront of discussions about enterprise and government use of blockchain technology. Nonetheless, builders and entrepreneurs on other blockchains will also participate provided everything associated with their projects is legal.
The history of BitcoinSV, and its slow steady growth have made it unstoppable as the global enterprise blockchain. There has been work to increase the transactional capacity of the bitcoin blockchain for sometime. For those who don’t know the history, bitcoin had split in 2017 due to the SEGWIT update which led to competing forks under the BTC and BCH tickers. The BCH ticker became the legacy chain that never activated SEGWIT. In 2018, the BCH chain split again into the BCH and BSV tickers.
The big difference between the competing chains is their transactional capacity. Currently, BSV Bitcoin can process over 50,000 transactions per second, as opposed to only 7 transactions for the BTC ticker blockchain.
