Microsoft announced that it will be making its AI image generator powered by DALLE available on desktop for users of the Edge browser. It seems an obvious moves since once it had integrated the image generation tech into its Bing chatbot, but making it available on the desktop widens the audience.
The “Image Creator” will live in Edge’s browser. It appears that using it will require you to type in what you want to create. Bing will then make several images that match the text you wrote. The images can then be used or discarded.
it is widely expected that this will cause edge to become a more popular browser, and a potential competitor to google. Of course, Google is widely expected to match this service.
